Meter data for Belgian Grid Operator
A Belgian Grid Operator needed to make meter data available for Business-to-Business customers. Metriot developed a device to read out the meter using RS-485 and the IEC62056-21 protocol and present it locally according to the DSMR P1 / AMR eMUCS-A1 standard.
Heat usage unlocked to choose the best ventilation
For a Dutch foundation (‘Stichting Hernieuwbare Warmte Ypenburg’) Metriot made a device to make a traditional heat meter smart. The heat meter was read using an optical head and pushed into a cloud database using NB-IoT communication. The data was visualized using cloud databases. See this article (in Dutch).
Easy OpenTherm HVAC and boiler Control
For the Makers Community Metriot developed a device to control a HVAC or Central Heating boiler using the OpenTherm protocol. The device is integrated into the popular home automation system Home Assistant and can also be controlled using MQTT. See this article.
